About the product

Backdrip is a backlink submission service for SaaS products. It sends one submission a day to vetted software listing websites, including launch sites, curated lists, and software catalogs. The service is designed for founders who want to build listings over time while focusing on their product. To begin, users paste their website URL. Backdrip reads the site and prepares details commonly requested by listing forms, such as the product name, tagline, description, and logo. Users review those details and add anything missing. Backdrip then uses the project details as it submits forms, creates accounts where needed, follows up, and checks resulting listings. Each project has a board showing every submission and its progress. Users can see listings that are live, awaiting approval, already listed, or not listed. For each website, the board can show its name, domain rating, publication status, and link type. Published links may be dofollow, nofollow, UGC, or sponsored, because publishers decide the attributes and whether to approve a submission. The board also keeps saved login details when available, allowing users to access accounts created for their project and update listings when the publisher permits it. Backdrip says these accounts belong to the project owner. Alongside backlink activity, Backdrip displays Google impressions, clicks, rankings, and domain rating, plus connected traffic data from Google and Vercel. This helps users review which links are live and observe search and traffic changes over time. Publication timing is determined by each listing website, and submissions may take weeks to be approved or may not be accepted. Backdrip also notes that ranking improvements are not guaranteed.

For product owners

Promote Backdrip

Every listing gets one post to our X and Threads followers. It is seen once, then the traffic stops. Promotion keeps Backdrip in front of people instead.

  • Back in the X and Threads rotation. Backdrip gets posted again instead of once.
  • A promoted slot on the AppRater homepage, carrying a Promoted badge.
  • A labelled spot in the weekly email to AppRater subscribers, one promoted app per issue.
  • Stays on the first screen however old the listing is, while new submissions push everything else down.

listai.tools

Web

listai.tools is a directory of AI tools. Tools are grouped by what they make rather than the industry they sell to, so the six sections are writing, image, video, audio, code and agents. Under each section there are categories like background removal, code review or voice cloning, and a tool can appear in more than one. Every listing shows the same things: the pricing model (free, freemium or paid), the access model (open source, closed source or API only), the categories it belongs to, and its upvote count. You can filter on any of them. If you want a free open source transcription tool, that is three clicks rather than a morning of tabs. Listings are ordered by upvotes. Paid listings show up in a separate featured row above the results and are not mixed into the ranking. There is also an MCP endpoint, so AI assistants can search the catalogue, compare two tools or ask for alternatives to something without an API key or a login. Reads are open. Everything is reviewed by hand before it is published. The directory currently holds 158 tools across 82 categories. Submitting a tool is free. Paid tiers are a one-off charge and buy speed and visibility, not a better position in the rankings, which come from votes only.
