About the product

Beelinguapp is an award-winning mobile app that lets people learn languages by reading content they love. The app leverages the parallel texts methodology, where a learner's native language is shown side-by-side with the language they want to learn, with a native speaker narrating the story. The app takes an entertainment-first approach to education - learning begins with engagement. Whether a beginner or brushing up on a language you learned in university, Beelinguapp complements learning by leveraging daily reading habits. Beelinguapp's library includes interesting stories ranging from from science and history to songs and news articles. Stories are written with cues to help you understand sentences, even if the learner doesn't understand each word. The learner's native language serves as training wheels to give confidence as s/he reads and listens. To conclude, we take advantage of the neuroscience of language acquisition - the simplest way to gain understanding and develop fluency. The parallel texts method unlocks the brain's natural ability to learn languages in their context.
