Being the CEO of an innovate fintech company, a couple years ago, I was hearing alot about fintech, blockhain, etc. It all centered around investments, banking, insurance, etc, but never taxes. So I said, hey, why not us. We started immersing ourselves in the space, investing ourselves and attending conferences. Then, in 2017 when crypto hit the mainstream, we saw the need for expanding our crypto capabilities within Happy Tax so we invested in scaling up the division by recruiting, hiring and training over 100 CPAs, EAs and accountants to be ready for the millions of people who we knew would have difficulty finding someone who knows crypto and taxes. There is a severe supply and demand situation with many in the accounting and tax space being older or not knowable about crypto. We have filled that gap as the only national company to have the team capable of servicing the demand.
