About the product
Gauge helps your company show up more in AI answers. Why should you care? Google searches are falling for the first time ever (and Google itself is moving to AI answers). Gartner predicts AI chatbots will capture 25% of search volume by next year With traffic leaving search, traditional SEO is dead. Our customers are seeing inbound AI traffic double every quarter. Gauge measures how often you and your competitors are referenced by AI, and derives insights from changes in the data over time. We came across this problem through an Open Source Day hosted by YC. There, we heard from a huge range of speakers, including Vercel, Elastic, Resend, and Airbyte. A consistent theme across every speaker was the new inbound they were seeing from ChatGPT. In just a few weeks, Gauge reached the front page of HN, saw over 40,000 organic users, and found its first design partners. Our customers include LendingTree, ChartHop, Resend, Helius, Standard Metrics, and more. If you’re curious in how often AI mentions your brand, learn more at withgauge.com.

For product owners
Promote Gauge
Every listing gets one post to our X and Threads followers. It is seen once, then the traffic stops. Promotion keeps Gauge in front of people instead.
- Back in the X and Threads rotation: Gauge gets posted again instead of once.
- A promoted slot on the AppRater homepage, carrying a Promoted badge.
- A direct link to Gauge from a DR45 site (Ahrefs Domain Rating), with no redirect in between.
- A labelled spot in the weekly email to AppRater subscribers, one promoted app per issue.
- Stays on the first screen however old the listing is, while new submissions push everything else down.
