About the product
HoloTap is a new iPhone app for trading card collectors that links the card in your binder to a digital record. Write a blank NFC tag in the app, stick it on the sleeve, toploader, or slab, and tap it with your phone: the card's interactive 3D record opens with front, back, and condition photos, so you never have to un-sleeve a card to check it.
Live Lens uses your camera to suggest catalog matches (double-check them, since it's AI-assisted). The catalog covers Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Disney Lorcana, One Piece, and Digimon, with price references that show their source and date. There's sports card support too, plus Game Day with live scores.
The built-in Card Market lets you browse listings, message sellers, make offers, and propose card-for-card trades, with Stripe checkout and postage included at checkout. Social features include posts, stories, follows, and public profiles. The same account works on the web at holotapcards.com.
HoloTap is free on the App Store, with optional memberships. NFC tags link a card to its record. They aren't proof of authenticity, grade, or ownership. Built by founder Sergio Cota, live since Sept 17, 2026.

Every listing gets one post to our X and Threads followers. It is seen once, then the traffic stops. Promotion keeps HoloTap in front of people instead.
