ImpactLine is a free, independent web app for reading US public budgets. Residents, reporters and researchers can explore spending figures alongside source links and fiscal periods, then inspect the underlying government records. Current coverage includes the federal government, six states and four cities. Coverage and evidence depth vary by jurisdiction. Sydney Thackray is the founder; this submission is made on her behalf.
