About the product

Lockstead helps control which apps can be opened when you share your iPhone or iPad. Choose protected apps, set a six-digit PIN, and optionally unlock settings with Face ID or Touch ID. Use scheduled protection, temporary access and Guest Mode rules for different situations. The app runs on-device without an account, backend server, advertising or analytics SDK, or usage-data upload. It uses Apple's Screen Time technologies and requires Screen Time authorization. Core protection for one app is free. VIP adds multi-app management, advanced rules, Guest Mode, app-removal controls, themes and alternate icons. US in-app purchase options are $7.99 Lifetime VIP, $4.99 yearly or $0.99 monthly. Requires iOS or iPadOS 17 or later. Submitted on behalf of QuietCipherLab, the independent developer brand.
