Moopes is a social chat app built around small group conversations instead of feeds, followers, or endless scrolling. People join topic-based chat rooms focused on things they’re actually interested in, from everyday life and hobbies to deeper conversations and random late-night discussions. Unlike traditional social media where interactions often feel performative or disconnected, Moopes is designed to make conversations feel more social again. Rooms stay intentionally smaller, which makes it easier to talk, recognize familiar people, and continue conversations over time without messages getting buried. The app is completely text-based and asynchronous, so there’s no pressure to be online constantly or jump into voice and video chats. You can reply whenever you want and come back to ongoing conversations later. Moopes is built for people who miss when the internet felt more conversational, personal, and community-driven.
