About the product

I built a website for people who have said “that’s stupid” and clicked anyway. Officially Sucks is a browser entertainment experience: choose one first name, hear “[name] sucks” three times, and get a shareable humorous certificate. It is a joke for adults 18+, self-roasts, fictional names and friends in on it. Free to browse; the declaration experience is optional and paid. New names start at C$1 before tax; payments collectively fund higher price levels. The ten-day paid experiment ends October 17, 2026. Submitted by the maker.

For product owners

Promote Officially Sucks

Every listing gets one post to our X and Threads followers. It is seen once, then the traffic stops. Promotion keeps Officially Sucks in front of people instead.

  • Back in the X and Threads rotation: Officially Sucks gets posted again instead of once.
  • A promoted slot on the AppRater homepage, carrying a Promoted badge.
  • A direct link to Officially Sucks from a DR41 site (Ahrefs Domain Rating), with no redirect in between.
  • A labelled spot in the weekly email to AppRater subscribers, one promoted app per issue.
  • Stays on the first screen however old the listing is, while new submissions push everything else down.

Quarterly promotion

$35USD every 3 months

Card, Apple Pay and more, through Whop. Starts straight away.

  • Cancel any time from the Whop account you paid with, or email [email protected] and we will do it.
  • The promotion starts straight away, no waiting on us.
  • Whop handles the checkout. We never see your card.
