OZ Defence Is Going Free-to-Play
– Downloadable for free in Apple’s App Store

Seongnam-si, Korea – July 9, 2013 – NHN Corporation announced that its popular mobile defense game ‘OZ Defence’(originally, $1.99 in App Store) will switch to free-to-play model starting July 9. ‘OZ Defence’ is celebrating this switch with a promotional giveaway where 100 emeralds, worth US$0.99, are given to all users who download the game.
‘OZ Defence’ is a 2D side-scrolling tower defense game developed by ‘Orangecrew’, development studio specializing in mobile games and a subsidiary of NHN. It was globally launched in English, Japanese and Chinese last month.
NHN’s decision to switch ‘OZ Defence’ to a free app comes after a 30-fold jump in number of downloads after the launch on June 25. With this switch, ‘OZ Defence’ aims to broaden its accessibility and appeal to the ever-increasing casual gamers around the world.
