About the product

QuickBooks .qbo files are easy to export but painful to analyze — they are a transaction stream, not a spreadsheet. QBOtoExcel is a free browser-based converter that turns .qbo bank transaction files into XLSX or CSV: one row per transaction with date, type, amount, name, memo, transaction ID, and account. The conversion runs locally, so financial data never leaves the user's device. No signup, no install. Feedback welcome: https://qbotoexcel.com

Yieldzo

property research

Yieldzo is for the private buy-to-let investor in the UK with the next purchase to research: the person with three rented houses and a deposit for a fourth, the first-timer with a spreadsheet and twelve portal tabs, the small landlord deciding whether Manchester or Bristol comes next. The free worksheet on this site works a target property's rent estimate from the comparable lets in its street, with the rent per square foot, the spread across the comps and the asking price per square foot, with no account. Then the paid plan keeps the deal file as the record, so the properties looked at, their comps, their area figures and the offers made stop living in a spreadsheet and a memory.

T

Taxyearvo

return

Four free worksheets for the person who files their own Self Assessment return. Put in what you earned, what you spent and which allowances apply, and the estimator builds the bill the way HMRC's own rules do: personal allowance, the rate bands, Class 2 and Class 4 National Insurance, and the payments on account that follow. The tax year planner puts every deadline against a date, and the amendment sheet shows how far back a filed return can still be changed. Nothing is hidden behind an account.
