About the product
Selected Site is a curated discovery platform built for creators, founders, and builders who want to find useful tools, inspiration, and ideas without the noise of traditional social platforms. Instead of endless scrolling or algorithm-driven feeds, Selected Site focuses on high-signal resources shared by people who actually build things. Users can discover inspiring websites, product ideas, tools for creators and founders, YouTube videos, Instagram Reels, and valuable X posts, all in one place. Members can submit useful links, save favorites, and organize them into boards tailored to their interests. The platform aims to become the go-to place for founders and creators to find inspiration, discover tools, and collect ideas while building new projects. Think of it as Pinterest, but designed specifically for builders and startup creators.

For product owners
Promote SelectedSite
Every listing gets one post to our X and Threads followers. It is seen once, then the traffic stops. Promotion keeps SelectedSite in front of people instead.
- Back in the X and Threads rotation: SelectedSite gets posted again instead of once.
- A promoted slot on the AppRater homepage, carrying a Promoted badge.
- A direct link to SelectedSite from a DR45 site (Ahrefs Domain Rating), with no redirect in between.
- A labelled spot in the weekly email to AppRater subscribers, one promoted app per issue.
- Stays on the first screen however old the listing is, while new submissions push everything else down.
