About the product

Startup Costs helps people compare six small-business formats across all 50 U.S. states, inspect source-dated benchmarks and visible assumptions, and test editable calculators for startup budget, break-even, cash runway, payback and service capacity. The profiles are transparent reference scenarios, not local quotes, forecasts or personalized financial advice. Core content and tools are free; optional paid financial models are separate.

For product owners

Promote Startup Costs

Every listing gets one post to our X and Threads followers. It is seen once, then the traffic stops. Promotion keeps Startup Costs in front of people instead.

  • Back in the X and Threads rotation. Startup Costs gets posted again instead of once.
  • A promoted slot on the AppRater homepage, carrying a Promoted badge.
  • A labelled spot in the weekly email to AppRater subscribers, one promoted app per issue.
  • Stays on the first screen however old the listing is, while new submissions push everything else down.

PawanSetu

hyperlocal

PawanSetu is a hyperlocal commerce web app for neighbourhood shops in Agra, India. Kirana, stationery and pharmacy shops list their stock, nearby customers order online at pawansetu.in, and the shop owner or the delivery boy the shop already employs brings the order over. It is deliberately not quick commerce: no dark stores, no rider fleet, no 10-minute promise. The customer relationship stays with the shop. Online payments through Razorpay go live in October 2026. Free for customers; the first pilot merchant is Shiv Stationary in Agra.

AI Cleanup Doctor

Productivity

Missed Lead Recovery is a free browser tool from AI Cleanup Doctor for organizing a small set of redacted inquiry records before a service team follows up. It separates ready items from holds, duplicates, do-not-contact records and records missing context. The queue helps a person check the requested service, next owner and next action. It does not contact customers, connect to an inbox or CRM, or establish permission to send a message. Use redacted or fictional records. The site also offers a separate, optional USD197 manual review of up to 25 redacted records; that service is not required to use the tool.

LineMarshal

Productivity

Lets walk-in businesses like clinics, barbershops and salons ditch the clipboard. Customers scan a QR code at the door, join the line from their phone (no app, no account) and wait wherever they want. They get a text when it's almost their turn, and staff run everything from a simple dashboard with a TV view for the lobby. There's a free plan.
