About the product

Sumi translates manga, manhwa and webtoons in place. It detects speech bubbles, erases the original lettering and re-typesets the translation inside the artwork, including vertical Japanese. The online translator and Chrome and Firefox extensions support 134 target languages. Readers can edit individual translated bubbles. Sumi is also available for iPhone, iPad and Mac, with on-device translation available in the app. The online translator lets readers try the first page without an account. Sumi translates pages readers already own or have open; it does not host manga. Made by Rainverse.
