About the product
Video Blackout redacts faces and license plates in video entirely on your Windows PC. On-device AI detects targets; pixels are burned into H.264 so the mask cannot be removed. Nothing is uploaded—built for bodycam, CCTV, FOIA, and GDPR/DSAR workflows. Free tier includes watermark; paid plans unlock production use.

For product owners
Promote Video Blackout
Every listing gets one post to our X and Threads followers. It is seen once, then the traffic stops. Promotion keeps Video Blackout in front of people instead.
- Back in the X and Threads rotation: Video Blackout gets posted again instead of once.
- A promoted slot on the AppRater homepage, carrying a Promoted badge.
- A direct link to Video Blackout from a DR45 site (Ahrefs Domain Rating), with no redirect in between.
- A labelled spot in the weekly email to AppRater subscribers, one promoted app per issue.
- Stays on the first screen however old the listing is, while new submissions push everything else down.
