Block Distracting Websites - Block Distracting Websites on your iPhone

About the product

Inspired by a well known SelfControl, it aims to provide a similar functionality on iOS. This app allows you to temporarily block distracting websites on Safari browser. You can unlock them again but it requires that you think twice before doing so: "Do I really need to browse funny cat pictures right now?". Optionally you can set a timer, not allowing you to unblock distracting websites until the time is up.

Promote Block Distracting Websites

Every listing gets one post to our X and Threads followers. It is seen once, then the traffic stops. Promotion keeps Block Distracting Websites in front of people instead.

  • Back in the X and Threads rotation: Block Distracting Websites gets posted again instead of once.
  • A promoted slot on the AppRater homepage, carrying a Promoted badge.
  • A direct link to Block Distracting Websites from a DR45 site (Ahrefs Domain Rating), with no redirect in between.
  • A labelled spot in the weekly email to AppRater subscribers, one promoted app per issue.
  • Stays on the first screen however old the listing is, while new submissions push everything else down.
