About the product

NotchBuddy puts a small animated pet in your MacBook's notch and turns it into a calm dashboard: hover the notch for a focus timer, reminders, sticky notes, clipboard history, a file shelf with AirDrop, music controls, calendar and more (19 tools). Sellers can connect Stripe, RevenueCat, Polar, Paddle, Lemon Squeezy, Gumroad, Dodo Payments or App Store Connect with a read-only key and see each sale arrive in the notch. Works on Macs without a notch as a small pill. Everything stays on your Mac. $20 one-time, no subscription. macOS 14 Sonoma or later, Apple silicon and Intel.

For product owners

Promote NotchBuddy

Every listing gets one post to our X and Threads followers. It is seen once, then the traffic stops. Promotion keeps NotchBuddy in front of people instead.

  • Back in the X and Threads rotation: NotchBuddy gets posted again instead of once.
  • A promoted slot on the AppRater homepage, carrying a Promoted badge.
  • A direct link to NotchBuddy from a DR45 site (Ahrefs Domain Rating), with no redirect in between.
  • A labelled spot in the weekly email to AppRater subscribers, one promoted app per issue.
  • Stays on the first screen however old the listing is, while new submissions push everything else down.

Monthly promotion

$14USD per month
