About the product
Every team needs to collect, share and re-use knowledge. For a lot of teams, Slack is where work happens, and it's also where they create and share most of the tribal knowledge. Slack, however, doesn't address well the problem of long-term storage, and doesn't help much with re-using conversations that have already happened, answers that have been found, decisions that have been made, etc. For long-term storage teams have to use other software, such as Confluence, Notion, Evernote, Google Docs, etc, but all of these tools only have basic Slack integration. OneBar is built with Slack-first approach in-mind, and allows you to do most of the knowledge-management operations right from Slack. With OneBar you can: - Save Slack threads to the Knowledge Base - Search for OneBar Answers - Create open Questions and assign people to them - Route Questions to the right Subject Matter Experts - Tag Answers - Mark information as invalid or outdated - View stats and identify knowledge gaps
