About the product
ScanForge is an Android app for PDF conversion and OCR text copying, currently available through a U.S.-only Google Play closed Alpha test rather than a public production release. I am the developer and am seeking unpaid volunteers for honest usability and bug feedback. Request approval to join https://groups.google.com/g/scanforge-closed-testers/about using your Google Play account. After approval, use the same account at https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.arthurevans.scanforge to opt in and follow the install link. Please remain opted in for at least 14 consecutive days and try several sessions with synthetic or non-sensitive documents. Test PDF conversion, OCR text copying, confusing screens and crashes. Send feedback privately via Contact owners and managers on the group About page. Installation and Try free demo require no purchase; paid features are outside this test. No payment, ratings, positive reviews or reciprocal testing requested. Group membership alone does not enroll a tester.

For product owners
Promote ScanForge
Every listing gets one post to our X and Threads followers. It is seen once, then the traffic stops. Promotion keeps ScanForge in front of people instead.
- Back in the X and Threads rotation: ScanForge gets posted again instead of once.
- A promoted slot on the AppRater homepage, carrying a Promoted badge.
- A direct link to ScanForge from a DR45 site (Ahrefs Domain Rating), with no redirect in between.
- A labelled spot in the weekly email to AppRater subscribers, one promoted app per issue.
- Stays on the first screen however old the listing is, while new submissions push everything else down.
