About the product

Volition is an open-source Chrome extension that blocks distracting websites and asks you to explain why you need access. An AI evaluates your reason and can grant temporary access, with a visible countdown on allowed pages. It adds a moment to consider whether opening a distracting site serves what you want to do. The extension includes a free hosted AI mode and optional bring-your-own API settings. Source code is available at https://github.com/jordansafer/volition.
