About the product
Whispek is an AI voice dictation desktop app for Windows, macOS and Linux. Hold a key, speak, and polished text appears in Cursor, Claude Code, Slack, email, or any text box. Hold Right Alt on Windows, Right Option on Mac, or Left Ctrl + Left Alt + Space on Linux.
Auto cleanup removes filler words and fixes punctuation. Writing styles and custom cleanup rules, Dictionary, Snippets, voice translation (30 languages in, 303 out), Whispek Assistant, text rewrite, local notes, and local history with result versions are included. Speech recognition and AI run in the cloud; history stays on your device.
Free plan that resets every 7 days. Pro is US$12/month or US$99/year for unlimited use of all current features. Linux packages: .deb and AppImage.

For product owners
Promote Whispek
Every listing gets one post to our X and Threads followers. It is seen once, then the traffic stops. Promotion keeps Whispek in front of people instead.
- Back in the X and Threads rotation: Whispek gets posted again instead of once.
- A promoted slot on the AppRater homepage, carrying a Promoted badge.
- A direct link to Whispek from a DR41 site (Ahrefs Domain Rating), with no redirect in between.
- A labelled spot in the weekly email to AppRater subscribers, one promoted app per issue.
- Stays on the first screen however old the listing is, while new submissions push everything else down.
