TraderPier
TraderPier is a browser platform for US stocks and ETFs. You pick a past trading day and replay it bar by bar, placing practice trades with stops and targets as it plays, so you practice a setup without knowing what comes next. A stop or limit only fills when a bar actually reaches it.
The journal imports your trades from a CSV. Each trade opens as a replay of its day, so you can see what the stock did after you got out.
The backtester runs a strategy over history on the same chart. On the Trader and Quant plans it can test many variations at once and check whether the best one holds up on data it wasn't tuned on. A strategy can run on paper, and the Quant plan connects to Alpaca or Tradier to run it live.
The free plan has no time limit and needs no card. You can also open the chart without an account and replay the last 5 trading days, though nothing is saved. I built it because I was practicing in one app, journaling in a spreadsheet and backtesting somewhere else.
