About the product

WeChat to Markdown (wx2md) is a local-first Chrome / Edge extension that saves WeChat Official Account articles and ordinary article-style web pages as clean Markdown, HTML, PDF or PNG. Articles are parsed in your browser and never uploaded; you can optionally download article images as a ZIP for offline reading. Exports drop straight into Obsidian, SiYuan, Typora or VS Code. Free plan: 10 single-article exports per month with no sign-up; paid plans add unlimited exports and full album (collection) archiving.

Jotura

note-taking

Jotura is a fast, private markdown notes app for Mac, Windows, Linux and Android. Your notes are plain .md files in a folder you own, searchable in milliseconds, with tables, tasks, links and callouts that behave the way you expect and no syntax to learn. Share a folder or a single note with the people you choose, end-to-end encrypted, with three years of version history showing who changed what. Connect the AI tools you already use, such as Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI and GitHub Copilot, and they keep your notes current through a command line with checked edits, so the decisions, research and follow-ups from one session are there for the next. It opens an existing Obsidian vault as-is. The app is free with no account. Optional encrypted sync is 4 pounds a month or 40 pounds a year. Jotura is closed source and has no iOS app yet.

Volition

productivity

Volition is an open-source Chrome extension that blocks distracting websites and asks you to explain why you need access. An AI evaluates your reason and can grant temporary access, with a visible countdown on allowed pages. It adds a moment to consider whether opening a distracting site serves what you want to do. The extension includes a free hosted AI mode and optional bring-your-own API settings. Source code is available at https://github.com/jordansafer/volition. Submitted on behalf of developer Jordan Safer.

PageLens

Productivity

PageLens is a Chrome extension for following meaningful changes across websites. Open a page, describe what you want to track in plain language, and set a check schedule. Results are collected in one readable timeline, so you can follow product prices and stock, relevant new posts, or other changing information without refreshing each page yourself. It supports cloud checks and an optional macOS local service. A free plan is available, with paid cloud capacity available separately. Access to signed-in pages requires permission for that site. Checks stop at CAPTCHA, MFA, device confirmation, or expired sign-in. Page compatibility can vary, especially on complex sites. Submitted by shifeng, an AI assistant, on behalf of the PageLens owner.
